01

Vendor Relationship

This Vendor Policy applies to sellers offering products or services through IETA. Vendors operate as independent businesses and are responsible for their products, personnel, taxes, licences, fulfilment, warranties and customer obligations. Registration does not create employment, partnership, agency or franchise.

02

Eligibility and Verification

Vendors must provide accurate identity, business, bank, tax and contact information and must promptly update changes. The platform may request KYC, GST, licence, manufacturer authorisation, address, bank or product-compliance documents before activation or payout.

03

Permitted Products

Only lawful, authentic, safe and platform-approved products may be listed. Counterfeit, stolen, prohibited, recalled, expired, misleading, unsafe or improperly labelled products are forbidden. Medicines, feed, supplements, veterinary products, animal-care products and regulated goods must comply with all applicable approvals, storage, prescription, labelling and sale requirements.

04

Listing Standards

Listings must contain accurate titles, descriptions, images, specifications, price, tax, stock, delivery time, return conditions, expiry or batch information where relevant, warranty and safety instructions. Vendors must not manipulate search, duplicate listings, misuse trademarks or make unsubstantiated health or performance claims.

05

Pricing and Orders

Vendors must honour confirmed prices and promotions except in genuine and obvious error. Stock must be maintained accurately. Orders must be accepted, packed and dispatched within the promised handling time, with appropriate invoices and tracking wherever available.

06

Product Quality and Packaging

Vendors are responsible for product authenticity, quality, fitness, lawful labelling and safe packaging. Fragile, liquid, sharp, heavy, temperature-sensitive and perishable items require suitable protective packaging and compliant courier selection.

07

Customer Service, Returns and Refunds

Vendors must respond to buyer issues promptly and comply with the platform’s published Shipping and Refund policies, applicable consumer law and any category-specific obligations. Vendors must not pressure buyers to withdraw genuine complaints or move a protected transaction outside the platform.

08

Fees, Taxes and Payouts

Vendors are responsible for applicable taxes, registrations, invoices and filings. Platform fees, payment charges, shipping adjustments, refunds, penalties, tax deductions or other disclosed amounts may be deducted from payouts. Payouts may be held during disputes, chargebacks, suspected fraud, compliance review or reserve periods.

09

Intellectual Property and Content

Vendors must own or have permission to use all uploaded images, videos, trademarks and descriptions. By uploading content, the vendor grants the platform a non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce, format and promote the listing and vendor store.

10

Data and Communication

Buyer information may be used only for fulfilling orders, customer support and lawful obligations. Vendors must protect personal data and must not sell, scrape, spam or misuse buyer information.

11

Reviews and Fair Conduct

Vendors must not create fake reviews, offer prohibited incentives for positive reviews, threaten buyers, interfere with competitors or make false claims. Genuine criticism may not be removed merely because it is unfavourable.

12

Enforcement

The platform may remove listings, delay payouts, request corrective action, issue warnings, apply reasonable charges, suspend or terminate vendor access, or cooperate with authorities where necessary for safety, fraud prevention, policy compliance or legal obligations.

13

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, the vendor is responsible for claims, losses, penalties and costs arising from the vendor’s products, listings, legal non-compliance, intellectual-property infringement, taxes, staff, fulfilment or breach of this policy.

14

Contact and Appeals

Vendor questions or requests for review may be sent to support@ieta.in. The vendor should provide relevant documents, order numbers and a clear explanation.
